Fionnphort

The Ferry Shop in Fionnphort is the nearest place for all essentials, including Post Office. It also has an excellent souvenir, craft and book shop. Round the back is Mica Hardware (same ownership) with a wide range of hardware items often at very good prices.

Internet Access

The Ferry Shop has a public Internet Access point, which you can use for 50p per quarter hour. It may sometimes be necessary to book your session.

Cash Machine

There is a cash machine (ATM) at the Ferry Shop in Fionnphort. It accepts most credit cards, and UK bank cards. It also accepts some personal overseas bank cards. There is no charge for transactions at this machine.

Bunessan

In Bunessan (5 miles) there's a Spar shop (with Post Office).

Tobermory

Tobermory (56 miles, allow 1 3/4 to 2 hours each way) is the 'capital' of Mull. It has several good shops, including a Co-op and a branch of the Clydesdale Bank with external ATM. You can also visit the distillery !

Fionnphort

The Keel Row (pub) has a restaurant open 6 - 9pm (last orders 8pm), serving good pub food. No advance booking, but you can wait in the bar until your table is called. In summer it can get very busy, so it's better to go early to avoid a long wait. In winter the restaurant is closed, and opening hours are generally shorter. Bar meals usually available when the restaurant is closed.

Ninth Wave
This newly opened restaurant already has an excellent reputation for its food and wine. However, it's not cheap, and does not take children under twelve. Vegetarian and vegan meals by arrangement. Located half a mile up a side road a few hundred yards before you reach Fionnphort village. Booking essential 01681 700757 or you can e-mail them from their web site

Bunessan

Iona

Martyr's Bay Restaurant serves meals all day.
You can stay for supper and come back on the late ferry to Fionnphort (20:00 or 21:45).
